He's known for his rugged good looks - but 58-year-old Liam Neeson had a certain je ne sais quoi at the premiere of his new movie in New York last night that left him looking years younger than of late.
The Irish star looked distinctly bright-eyed and rosy cheeked, looking for all the world like he'd applied a little make-up and perhaps had a brush with a bottle of hair dye.
To the casual observer, it seemed as if a smudge of under-eye brightener such as Touche Eclat - or 'man-cealer' - had been applied, with perhaps a sprinkle of powder and a smidgen of rouge.

Or perhaps there was just really rather good lighting outside the Ziefield Theatre in New York last night and Liam's features were exactly as nature intended.
Famed for his roles in Schindler's List and more recently The A Team, Liam was at the premiere of his new movie The Next Three Days, in which he stars alongside Russell Crowe and Scrubs and 30 Rock star Elizabeth Banks.
The film also features House star Olivia Wilde, who plays Dr Remy Hadley in the medical drama, along with UK actor Lennie James, Israeli beauty Moran Atias and making his movie debut, Wu Tang Clan rapper RZA.

It tells the story of a Pittsburgh married couple, who''s life is turned upside down when the wife - Banks - is accused of a murder. Crowe plays a professor who takes extreme action to free his wife from prison.
Liam plays an escaped prisoner giving tips to Crowe's character on how to free his wife.
The film, a remake of hte 2007 French film Pour Elle (Anything for Her), opens on 19 November in the US and on January 11 in the UK.

Liam meanwhile has recently been dating again, after his beloved actress wife Natasha Richardson died following a skiing accident in March 2009.
He was seen a few weeks ago leaving a New York restaurant with Leslie Slater, 46, a striking French stewardess he met on a flight to Paris in the summer.
And in September, he was seen hand-in-hand with PR women Freya St Johnson.
So maybe it was love that was putting the colour back into his cheeks...
